Welcome Wells Fargo Team Members

Established in 2001, WE Care supports Wells Fargo team members experiencing significant financial hardship as a result of a natural disaster, family emergency or other unexpected events.

Unforeseen events can impact us in unanticipated ways. The WE Care Fund provides grants to team members who face a catastrophic disaster and financial hardship that results from an event beyond their control. The intent of the WE Care Fund is to help team members get back on their feet with basic necessities, and it is intended to be used by those who do not have other resources to help themselves.

WE Care allows Wells Fargo team members to provide support for each other in times of crisis. While gifts cannot be designated for a specific individual, they do guarantee funds are available to provide assistance to team members whose circumstance qualifies for support.

E4E Relief is a wholly owned subsidiary of Foundation For The Carolinas, a 501(c)(3) public charity that administers the fund ensuring donations go directly toward helping employees repair or rebuild homes, replace belongings and cover the cost of food, clothing and basic living expenses.

This online portal is designed to be a fast and easy way to learn about the program. If you are facing a difficult situation this page can help you determine if you're eligible for program assistance and allows you to apply online by clicking the "Apply" icon below.  To learn how to support the WE Care Fund by making a donation, click on "How to Give" below.

  • How We Help Open or Close

We provide short-term assistance as a one-time grant to cover unforeseen expenses related to:

»    Disasters including natural disasters, government declared emergencies or personal disasters such as a house fire.
»    Severe financial hardships resulting from a sudden event that a team member could not be expected to have prepared           for adequately through financial planning and budgeting: such as a short-term illness, domestic violence situations requiring       an immediate move or an unexpected loss of income.

Grant amounts vary based on the nature of the event and related expenses. The maximum grant award is up to $10,000 per team member per 12 month period.

These grants are not loans and do not have to be repaid. In most circumstances, approved funds are paid directly to the vendor(s) to whom the team member owes payment. After a disaster, grants may be provided to team members for basic expenses, such as temporary shelter, clothing, food, transportation expenses, and other necessities that are not immediately provided by emergency community services or insurance.
